As a Deployment Engineer, you will work on multiple platforms and environments with continuous learning of new technologies.
Responsible for solution design, installation, configuration and maintenance of customer cloud-based and on-prem systems.
In addition, working with internal interfaces (Customer Support, R&D, QA ) and taking responsibility for the technical Knowledge maintenance and sharing.
Required Skills:
Advanced knowledge of IT systems, including solutions design, networking, servers, and applicationsExcellent understanding and experience with Linux, Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Cloud environmentsExperience in installing, configuring, and maintaining servers both physical and virtual (ESX, Cloud VMs)Experience in Linux and Windows script languages (BASH, PowerShell) are preferredKnowledge of and experience with deploying infrastructure (IaaS) solutions to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)Solid understanding of Database concepts primarily, Postgres and MSSQLExperience with operating Firewall platforms and VPN technologies- strong advantageSolid Knowledge Base maintenance approach and Knowledge sharing attitudeExperience in Customer Support and ability to work with worldwide global customersProblem solver:
proven troubleshooting skills, result- driven, 'make it happen' approachAbility to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergenciesExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with attention to detailsQualifications3
years' experience working as a System EngineerCertifications:
