As a Mail Delivery Driver, you will carry out our Mission of Love by receiving, sorting and distributing mail.
Our Mail Delivery Driver is responsible for the following:
Receive mail coming in thru the organization or from the post office, or delivery vendors.
Record the date of receipt, name of the sender, and location of the receiver.
Sort the mail or packages according to locations or departments.
Weigh each mail or package outgoing and append the appropriate amount of postage.
Deliver mail to departments and to individuals within the organization; and collect mail to be sent out from them.
Ensure that the mailroom never runs short of materials required for posting mail such as postage stamps, envelopes, and markers.
Maintain a good relationship with courier agencies to ensure that they are readily available when the need for their services arises.
Answer customers' questions related to postage rates, safety, and duration of delivery.
May be responsible for procuring materials used by the mailroom.
Ensure that the mailroom and surroundings are always neat.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling mail.
Monitor the movement of mails sent outside the organization.
Assist in training newly employed mail clerks.
Work with resident volunteers and able to train any incoming employees.
Assist in transporting residents when needed.
What You Have:
Expected to be good at counting and recording.
Basic math skills are necessary.
Must be able to quickly sort mail with little to no mistakes.
Must be able to meet deadlines with regards to posting or dissemination of mails and packages.
Ability to think quickly and adjust to current workload.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
