These are folks that sell guns at the Gun Counter, help shooters on the Range and so much in between.
They engage with customers, listen to their needs and make sure they have the best possible experience finding the right gun for them - whether it's their first or their fortieth.

Job Purpose The Sales Associate is a critical role at Trop Gun Shop.
They welcome and engage with customers, asking questions and listening to their needs, providing options and advice on meeting those needs and encouraging them to purchase goods and services which will help them to be the best gun owner they can and to enjoy the experience of gun ownership.
Sales Associates provide excellent customer service and an excellent sales experience to our customers.
They are trained to be versatile across all retail functions and meticulously follow directions.
They are passionate about guns, the second amendment and the gun industry and this passion is expressed in the energy and attitude with which they approach each day at the shop.
Essential Job Functions Welcome and engage with all customers, asking questions, listening to their needs and providing options for and advice on meeting those needs Actively sell firearms and related goods (ammunition, holsters, cleaning kits, cases, etc.
) and services (range time, training classes, gunsmithing, etc.
) that will enhance the gun buyers experience of gun ownership Accurately and carefully use point of sale system to process customer transactions according to company policy and procedure Stock shelves and product displays as directed with an emphasis on accurate and neat merchandise representation Become trained in Gun Sales, Cashier / Customer Service and Merchandising functions Assist Retail Management in store opening and closing procedures Maintain and develop product and industry knowledge by independent research, range time and taking advantage of designated learning opportunities Adhere to federal, state and local regulations and procedures relative to the sale of firearms Learn Trop-specific systems and adhere to policies and procedures Ensure awareness of current promotional events and sales Actively contribute to help ensure the retail environment is friendly, positive and professional at all times Be courteous to customers and cooperative with co-workers Maintain good housekeeping standards Requirements Passion for the firearms industry and gun ownership Interest in developing knowledge-base, as well as understanding of gaps in knowledge Ability to interact politely, efficiently and effectively with customers and co-workers Ability to effectively use a desktop computer and web applications and browsers Qualifications Firearms Retail Experience Preferred Firearms Ownership Experience Required Physical Requirements The Sales Associate is frequently required to stand or walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
They are regularly required to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch.
They are occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
