We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, a Design Engineering Manager! This position plans, organizes and directs engineering and drafting professionals to meet company objectives for the design, new product development and improvement of existing product lines of A/V systems.
This position oversees key engineering projects and processes.
The responsibilities of this role may include:
Plans and establishes engineering schedules and ensures performance is meeting the estimates providedCoordinates the creation of blueprints and other engineering dataEnsures accuracy of drawings and adherence to established organizational standards and objectivesWorks closely with other managers to ensure quality installation of A/V systemsApproves process specification and design standardsRecommends new policies or procedures as necessaryReviews estimates and proposals and plans to determine if the organization can meet the engineering requirementsRecommends budgets to management, including staff use, technology, facility and equipment requirements or improvementsAnalyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of equipmentProvides system engineering and solution-based architecture for commercial and military applicationsContributes to the designs of new products and improvements to existing productsEnsures equipment is procured timely and meets the specifications of the projectsResearches and evaluates products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliabilityPlans, formulates, organizes and assigns personnel according to project requirementsReviews designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specificationsDevelops implementation schedules, test plans, and training programsSchedules and resolves engineering design and test problemsDirects the integration of products and equipmentEvaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releasesInforms team of the progress of projectsUses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to assist in the development of audio-visual designsManages, delegates and coordinates drafting responsibilities and priorities to the drafting teamPerform all other duties as assignedTo qualify for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other relevant discipline and years 7 to 10 years of audiovisual design engineering experience.
A CTS-D certification is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
