This Automation Specialist position reports to our Client Services Director and will focus exclusively on projects using technology to improve service for our clients and increase efficiency for our staff.
Examples of possible projects include:
web crawling bots to automate processes, coding in Python and Selenium, and integrating processes related to the TPA business.
This full-time, non-exempt, and salaried position is fully remote.
We will provide you with a home office set-up including a computer and a phone.

Responsibilities:
Assist in projects identified by management to automate work processes and improve customer service and company imageResearch and implement complex technology solutionsMaintain and build upon scripts and code written by othersReport regularly to management verbally and in writingTranslate potential issues and solutions in the code so that management and other team members can understandInteract with our software vendors about potential automation projectsCommunicate with the technical team to ensure proposed solutions are consistent with our network standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 1 year of experience working with Python, Selenium, PDFtk library, and virtual machines; 3-5 years of experience preferredExperience building production code in a team environment preferredAbility to learn and work with various APIsAbility to document processes or project management in a team environmentAbility to proactively collaborate with different segments of the business and with the coding teamAbility to vocalize concerns and offer solutions with different segments of the business and with the coding team Strong computer skills including knowledge of current trendsAbility to manage several projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsIndependent research and analytical skillsHigh level of critical thinkingCoachableMust be able to pass a background checkComfortable with Microsoft Teams and conference calls as primary method of interacting with team leader Compensation and
